NEW CASTLE, Ind. – DNA evidence has been used to positively identify a body found in a New Castle field on Nov. 8 as an Alzheimer’s patient who went missing on Aug. 14.
Larry T. ,74, went missing after walking away from his assisted living facility, Addison Place. A Regional Silver Alert was declared as a result.
Police say Tucker’s body was found by a farmer who was harvesting corn around a quarter mile away from the assisted living facility.Police say it took multiple weeks for the body to be positively identified, because of its advanced state of decomposition.
